Comics: Old Tech

Today in Computer Science class, we had learnt about the risks of throwing away our old electronics and how it affects the Earth and also the people of Accra. Workers in Accra work with a lot of heavy metals scrapping old TVs, computers, phones, etc. which leads them to contract multiple illnesses that are life-threatening.

Here is a comic strip I made highlighting about what I learnt about E-Waste and its harmful effects.

This comic strip is about reusing or giving old electronics to people that don’t have them but need them a lot so that we do not have to put workers in Accra in such dangerous conditions of burning and incinerating garbage tech.
